DC FASHION EVENT: Fashion Show @ Mazza Gallerie

Mazza Gallerie is presenting a free fashion show with a focus on holiday style on Saturday, November 13 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Professional models will be showing the glitz and glamour that Mazza Gallerie retailers have in stock for this season of festive socializing. This event also offers the opportunity for fans to meet Aly, “MIX Fashionista” of the MIX 107.3 Morning Show, who is M.C. for the fashion show. The halls of Mazza Gallerie will be thumping with DJ music as the models glide up the escalator to the stage in front of the second floor entrance of Neiman Marcus.

FASHION SPOTLIGHT: Rag & Bone at Intermix Georgetown

If you are wondering why I am not in any of these pictures, its a crazy story. For those of you who have children, you will shake your head in solidarity. My son locked himself out of the house. Hence, I had to rush home and miss this fab event. Que sera, sera.

The show must go on. Rag & Bone Designers, David Neville and Marcus Wainright were on hand to preview their Resort 2011 Collection and give a few styling tips at the Intermix in Georgetown. DC FASHION WEEK 2010: Bridal Collections

DC Fashion Week 2010 started off with a bang with the addition of a Bridal Collections Show in the lineup this year. I was very happy to see this addition. There were some amazing designers showing their bridal wares including Alvin Thompson's New Couture, Leighel Desiree, Ester Hoffman and Little Flowers.

Headlining this event was the amazing bridal designer Liz Stajka of Elizabeth St. John Bridal. I adore her designs. I met Liz during Bridal Market Week earlier this year and was able to get an up close view of her fabulous designs. Each gown has its own voice and makes you feel something different about each one. She has a little something for every bride. If you can't find a gown in her collection to love, then you must be asleep.
